We still laugh thinking about our proposal story. Kabir had this whole 'smooth and subtle' plan that ended with him nearly dropping the ring into the Botanical Gardens fountain because he was so nervous. But honestly, that moment was perfectly us: hilarious and filled with so much love. That’s exactly the energy we wanted our wedding to have.
We started exploring the idea of having a wedding planner and were introduced to Palamor Events through a family member. Rohit truly stood out. We wanted someone who wouldn’t just organise things but would genuinely care about our story and bring our vision to life without us losing our minds in the process. Our biggest expectation was honestly just peace of mind. We had a few dealings with suppliers who lacked professionalism and our wedding plans felt like a burden to them. We wanted to actually enjoy being engaged instead of drowning in to-do lists. We both work crazy hours, so having Rohit there to take the reins, keep us on track, and help make decisions without us feeling overwhelmed was invaluable.
Our main focus was to make sure the wedding reflected what we wanted, not just another pretty event.
From the very first meeting, Rohit was patient (even when we changed our minds a million times), creative, and somehow always three steps ahead of us. He kept reminding us to breathe and enjoy the small moments and he is the BIGGEST hype man. Every call, every walk through, and the late-night messages made us feel supported and excited instead of stressed. His knowledge and opinions in bridal fashion were the biggest surprise and he even came shopping with us!
The wedding day was magic. Actual magic. We still don’t understand how everything flowed so perfectly because behind the scenes there must have been a million moving parts. All we saw was this beautifully created day, and every detail was so us. We were able to be fully present. It’s the 'little things' that are pretty huge, like laughing, dancing, and soaking it all in with our families. That is because Rohit didn’t just plan our wedding; he provided us with one of the happiest days of our lives.
